Pay it forward! If Poynter has touched you, or if you simply want to help journalists get the training they need, you can make a contribution of $50, $100, $250, $500 or more toward the tuition of a journalist who participates in a Poynter seminar. Our goal is to make Poytner training more accessible to journalists across all media platforms. Nominate someone for a scholarship by sending an email to amadsen@poynter.org. Elementary & Middle School Writing Camp » Donate Online

Help create future readers and writers by supporting this three-week summer program for students in fourth through eighth grades. School teachers attend, as well, to work with the students and develop their own writing and coaching skills. Your gift of $300 pays tuition for a low-income student to attend this popular camp, building writing skills and boosting confidence.

High School Program » Donate Online

Support Poynter's work with high school journalists in Tampa Bay and across the country. Your gift helps Poynter serve student journalists and media advisers and provides scholarships for students to come to Poynter. A $500 gift provides tuition for one student to attend Poynter's yearlong program for high school students, including two weeks in the summer and 10 evening workshops during the school year.

College students find Poynter a valuable steppingstone into professional journalism. Your gift funds programs for college students and recent graduates and provides scholarships for college students to attend programs at Poynter.
